There are five vertical fixed-shaft axial-flow hydro-generators installed in the factory. The single-unit capacity is 800kW and the total installed capacity is 4000kW. The waterwheel model is ZD661-LH-120. The head is 16m, the rated flow is 6.73m3/s, and the head is 10m. The rated flow is 9.9m3/s. The generator model is TSL215/21-14. The current total output of the five units only reached 2000kW, far less than the installed capacity of 4000kW. Zelian Power Station now uses a 35kV overhead line to send electrical energy to the power system. According to the negotiation between the construction party and the power supply department, Zelian Power Station maintains the current access system plan unchanged. This reformation is based on the conditions of the turbine runner diameter, flow path, installation elevation, and the main size of the auxiliary equipment and plant of the hydropower plant. The transformation of the hydro turbine runner and generator will be carried out. It is planned to retain the two old units of the original plant and the other three units. The turbine unit is replaced as a whole, and the high-efficiency turbine model is selected. Due to the limitations of the old runner size, the rated water head is 9.38m, the runner diameter is 1.2m, and the rated speed is 375r/min.
