Motorola MotoZ Black Technology Hanging World's First Mobile Phone Supporting VR and AR

After Motorola officially released its new flagship mobile phone Moto Z, it has a strong response. The biggest feature of this new machine is its own custom module. As a modular mobile phone, Moto Z supports a variety of Moto Mods intelligent modules, which can be combined with projection module, battery module, photography module (Hasselblad cooperation), speaker module (JBL cooperation) and back shell module various personalization options.

In addition to the above features, Moto Z is probably the first mobile phone in the world to support both VR and AR. Earlier, the VR Daily reported that after Moto Z upgraded to Android 7.0, it will also become the next mobile phone to support the Google Daydream mobile VR ecosystem.

There are not many mobile phone models that can support Google's daydream platform, except for Google's own Pixel series, plus Huawei's mate9 series. Therefore, mobile phones that currently support this platform are still in a scarce state.

Aymar de Lencquesaing, president of Motorola's mobile division, recently said that Motorola may add Tango augmented reality to the Moto Z mobile phone series. Why does this also support AR?

Because Google’s advanced technology and project department responsible for the “Project Tango” project is actually the previous R&D team of Motorola Mobility. The department was retained in Google’s sale of Motorola Mobile to Lenovo.

The current "Project Tango" project was developed by Google's Advanced Technology and Projects department and some researchers, as well as Silicon Valley startup Movidius, which provides chip technology to analyze and express data from sensors and cameras.
