Tencent said that they have built an ar web server for image queue and model management, and support multi-user and huge user scale, each user will have their own database.
Tencent will track the buildings, office space and other places through SLAM tracking technology. At the same time, the Kalman filter is used to fuse the data of the IMU and the camera to keep the tracking fast and stable.
Although Qar has not yet been released, Tencent has been exploring ar's applicable scenarios with many internal applications, including:
WeChat movie ticket, RTX+Tencent Explorer, QQ mobile browser, KM, WeChat public class, WeChat sweep, mobile phone housekeeper, application treasure.

After the launch of Qar, APP developers only need 3 lines of code to add Tencent's ar module functionality to their app. In addition, Tencent will launch an H5 open platform for web developers. In the future, Tencent may support various head-mounted displays including HoloLens and Meta, and will also add three other functions to the Qar SDK: Face ar, Handy ar and Scene ar.
