The new additions include the Microchip Lighting Starter Kit, which includes motherboards, prototyping boards, adapters and power supplies. The toolkit not only provides a common development platform for lighting communication application design, but also integrates into existing lighting networks to develop web applications or integrate with multiple communication platforms to create large lighting networks.
New products include the Microchip PIC32 USB Starter Kit III. This is a low-cost modular development system for the Microchip 32-bit microcontroller family. It includes on-board circuitry with full debug and programming performance and can be extended with a modular expansion interface. The starter kit also comes pre-loaded with demo software to help users develop toolkit features.
In addition, the Microchip Wi-Fi G Demo Board is a portable, low-cost development system for creating Wi-Fi networks and manipulating demo features from a client device browser. The demo version comes pre-loaded with demo software and can be expanded by adding a sensor expansion board.
