(2) Neutral weathering adhesive
1. It is suitable for all kinds of curtain wall weatherproof sealing. It is especially recommended for weatherproof sealing of glass curtain wall, aluminum-plastic panel curtain wall and stone dry hanging;
2. Seam sealing between metal, glass, aluminum, ceramic tile, plexiglass and coated glass;
3. Joint sealing of concrete, cement, masonry, rock, marble, steel, wood, anodized aluminum and painted aluminum. Primer is not required in most cases.
(3) Silicone structural adhesive
1. Firstly, it should be used for metal and glass structure or non-structural bonding assembly of glass curtain wall.
2. It can directly connect the glass to the surface of the metal component to form a single assembly component, which meets the requirements of the curtain wall design of full or semi-hidden frame.
3. Structural bonding and sealing of insulating glass.
(4) All silicone glass adhesives are subject to the following restrictions:
1. It is not suitable for long-term flooding;
2. It is not compatible with materials that will seep out grease, plasticizer or solvent;
3. The frosted or wet surface cannot be bonded;
4, completely sealed can not be cured (silica gel needs to be solidified by moisture in the air);
5. The surface of the substrate is not clean or firm.
(5) Acidic glass glue has the following restrictions:
Acidic silicone glass glue can corrode or not bond copper, brass (and other copper-containing alloys), magnesium, zinc, electroplated metals (and other zinc-containing alloys), and is recommended for brick and stone materials and carbon carbide substrates. Do not use acid glass glue. It is not good to use this product on materials made of methyl methacrylate (PLEXIGLAS), polycarbonate, polypropylene, polyethylene and TEFLON (Teflon, Teflon). Bonding effect and good compatibility. It is not suitable to use acid glass glue for moving more than 25% of the width of the seam. It is better not to use ordinary acid glass glue (except for acid structural glue) on the structural glass, and should not be used in areas where there is abrasion and physical disadvantages. Use acid glass glue. It is not suitable for the surface temperature of the substrate of silicone acid glue to exceed 40 °C.
(6) Neutral weathering adhesives have the following restrictions:
Neutral weathering adhesives are not suitable for structural glass assembly; substrate surface temperatures above 50 °C are not suitable for construction.
(7) Silicone structural adhesives have the following restrictions:
It is not suitable for the surface temperature of the base material of the silicone structural adhesive to exceed 40 °C.
