Brief introduction to different models of car audio BTL dedicated amplifier IC

In this paper, the power amplifier part with the highest failure rate of the car radio and receiver, combined with the actual measurement and collection of information, is a special introduction to this type of IC.

1. Special IC for brand machine

Figure 1 is the Japanese pioneer company car audio dedicated power amplifier IC PAL006A (measured model DEH-P3300), the IC uses MOSFET output stage, 25-pin single-sided double-row sawtooth package, contains 4 sets of BTL power amplifier, the maximum power 50Wx4.

Figure 2 shows the power amplifier stage of the Ford XLlF-18C870-ED retractor made by ALPINE for Ford. The IC is a PHILIPS 70039AB type, 17-pin single-sided dual in-line package with two sets of BTL circuits. It is also used in Clarion Addzest, a Japanese company.

2. Widely used TA8210AH~TA8215L series BTL stereo IC

As shown in Figure 3, the TA8210AH is a 17-pin single-sided dual-row zigzag package, and the TA82l5L is a 17-pin single-in-line type.

3. Mono BTL dedicated IC

The MB3730 (single-row, 7-pin in-line type) is commonly used in Toyota vans and some Panasonic retractable machines. The measured model in Figure 4 is OYOTA1806.

4. Other BTL-specific ICs (see Figure 5 - Figure 7)

Some brands of dedicated 4-channel BTL amplifier ICs (such as PAL006A in Figure 1, and similar PAL005A) are basically the same as the commercial TDA7382, and are interchangeable. In addition, the high-density assembly process of the new car audio (such as the main circuit board of Figure 2 "Ford" Ford XL1F is a double-sided double-layered layer with a thickness of 1.8mm, that is, "four-sided copper plate"), which makes the line during maintenance. Follow-up is more difficult.
