RECOM introduces constant current LED drivers for the RACD12 and RACD20 series, which are "all inclusive" RACDs with universal AC input, power factor correction and UL certification.
The LED driver is a 12W and 20W solution to meet the needs of the high brightness LED lighting market. Its LED driver module is suitable for almost all LED manufacturers' products and LED systems, with a universal AC input and a constant 350mA current or 700mA current output. The LED driver covers a much wider output voltage range than the normal operation of the constant current regulator and can be used for single LEDs or up to 16 series LEDs.
Both RACD12 and RACD20 have built-in > 0.95 power factor correction, 3KV input/output isolation, and the melt input completely eliminates short circuits, open circuits, overloads and over temperature, all of which ensure a robust, low error, safe design. These converters have passed the new drive LED array standard - UL8750. The driver also provides input and output terminals and a 5.5mm output jack. This jack allows the LED to be pre-wired with a matching plug, making lighting installation easier and safer.
RECOM's RACD12 and RACD20 series of LED drivers have over 70,000 hours of operation and are suitable for commercial, residential and industrial lighting systems.
