Nowadays, the base has five functional zones, namely photovoltaic district, photoelectric application zone, electronic information zone, National University Science and Technology Park Fujian Branch (high-tech enterprise incubator base) and Taiwanese Business Park, which have settled 9 projects and started construction. There are 7 projects, 3 production projects, 5 new cooperation agreement projects, 73,000 square meters of completed factories, and nearly 300 million yuan of fixed assets investment.
As a specialized optoelectronic information industry base, Quanzhou (Nan'an) Optoelectronic Information Industry Base has attracted a number of provincial and overseas universities and colleges such as Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, North China Electric Power University, Xiamen University and Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to create a science park and research and development center. And establish a long-term cooperative relationship, providing a strong technical support for the development of photovoltaic industry in Nan'an.
