January Global Chip Sales Revenue Increases 14% to $25.5 Billion

According to a report released by the US Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) on Monday, due to the increasing use of chip products, global chip sales revenue in January 2011 increased by 14% year-on-year, an increase of 1.5% from the previous quarter to 25.5 billion US dollars.

Members of the Semiconductor Industry Association of the United States include Intel, AMD, and LSI. The agency said that last year's industrial sector sales of chip sales increased by 50% year-on-year, automotive electronics chip sales increased by 44%. The boom in automotive electronics comes from increased demand for chips in hybrid and electric vehicles, entertainment applications, engine control and navigation systems.

In terms of regions, sales in the Americas increased by 25% year-on-year to US$4.7 billion in January; sales in Europe increased by 13% to US$3.11 billion; sales in Japan increased by 9.6% to US$3.83 billion, and sales in Asia Pacific increased by 12%. To 13.68 billion U.S. dollars.

Brian Toohey, president of SIA, said: "The industry will continue to grow steadily because of the increasing application of chips to a wide range of products. Chip sales have been growing rapidly over the past year, as the products we use every day have become Smarter, faster, and cheaper, the demand in all major end markets is strong, especially in the industrial and automotive industries. This trend is encouraging.”

In all vertical sectors, including consumer electronics, automotive, computer, industrial, communications, and government applications, the level of chip integration is increasing, pushing chip sales up 32% in 2010. The integration of energy-saving tools and the automation of industrial applications have contributed to the growth of the industry.

Tact Switch

Tact Switches

The Tact Switches, also called theTactile Push Button Switches, is used to meet the operating force to apply pressure to the switch operation direction. The switch function is closed and closed. When the pressure is released, the switch is opened, and the internal structure is realized by the force change of the metal shrapnel.

The Momentary Tact Switches has the advantages of small contact resistance, precise operating force error, and diversified specifications. We have a variety of Mini Tact Switches, including TK series, BP Series and other series. This Tactile Button offers many options on the item of circuit, comprising a single pole, single throw switch, or a single pole, double throw, double action switch.

This Push Button Switches that is PCB mounted and has a long travel. The distinctive feature is the double action of the double throw switch; It will actuates when press mid-travel and , then continue pressing for another actuation at full travel.

The applications of this LED light Switches is including Audio and video products, digital products, remote controls, communication products, household appliances, security products, toys, computer products, fitness equipment, medical equipment, counterfeit pens, laser pointers, etc.
