The Korean-owned Feiying Group held a promotion meeting in Hong Kong on the 20th. The company will start offering shares next week. Some Korean-funded and Taiwan-funded funds are interested in subscription. Feiying will be on sale from 29th to March 5th this month. It is scheduled to be listed on March 12th. The company plans to issue 300 million shares, with an offer price ranging from 0.7-0.94 yuan per share, raising funds of 210 million to 282 million yuan. With 4,000 shares in one lot, the entrance fee is 3,797.9 yuan.
The company is a manufacturer of metal components for consumer electronics, with Samsung and LG as its main customers and Fine DNC Korea and Fine Technix listed in Korea.
Feiying said it plans to acquire land in Guangzhou to build a new production base. In addition, the group also stated that it will focus on research and development of production technologies, such as the promotion of compression molding technology. Feiying's metal parts can be used in LCD or LED TVs, laptops and monitors and mobile phones.
In the first eight months of last year, Feiying’s direct and indirect sales to Samsung accounted for 89.2% of total revenue. Despite this reliance on Samsung, Feiying has not signed any long-term purchase contracts with customers. If Samsung delays or suddenly cancels the order, it may not be able to obtain a replacement order in time. However, Feiying also pointed out that the company has ordered more than 300 kinds of molds according to Samsung's specifications. It is difficult for Samsung to find a supplier to replace them in a short period of time.
