Taiwan Plant Dingyuan Optoelectronics (2426) is actively developing the upstream LED epitaxial process. At present, its new Taichung new plant has introduced 7 MOCVD machines, and plans to gradually put into production before the end of the year.
The head of the company said that it plans to add 19 sets of machines in 2011, so by the end of 2011, the number of MOCVD machines in Taichung will reach 26. In addition, Dingyuan will cooperate with the Fuzhou government of the mainland to build Fuzhou Zhaoyuan Optoelectronics to build a one-stop LED production plant. The plant has 30 MOCVD machines in the initial stage and will be put into production before the end of 2011.
